Garfield's movie with Chris Pratt already has a release date

One of the most relevant actors in Hollywood is Chris Pratt, who has participated in iconic franchises such as Jurassic World, Avengers and more high-budget productions. On his part, he is now betting on giving his voice to characters, and one of them is precisely Garfield , the orange cat that has been loved for generations.

Previously it had already been announced that the actor would lend his voice to the character, but no more progress had been made about it, not even a trailer of such mysterious tape. However, it is already announced what the release date for this animation will be, and it will be neither more nor less than next February 16, 2024 when you can enjoy cinemas.

The film was originally announced in 2016 , but they spent several years before the more news of the cast came to light and if it was going to be animation or live action. In November, it was confirmed that Pratt would give voice to the feline. The notification came shortly after it was announced that the actor would also play Mario on his animated tape.

The filming is being directed by Mark Dndal , who was previously in charge of the crazy things of the Emperor and Chickn Little of the company Disney .
